Ladytron – Subkultfestivalen (2026-06-27)

Subkultfestivalen is a cultural festival located in Trollhättan, Folkets Park. The festival was first held in August 2016 and this year marks their 10 year anniversary! This was my 6th time at this festival which is a really fun summer tradition for me!

The festival focuses on subcultural and norm-breaking interests, lifestyles, and expressions. They’ve chosen to highlight subcultures like goth, synth, punk, post-punk, indie, industrial, electronica, techno, and similar genres. Subkult is a festival that features music, art, dance, shows, and workshops.

Everyone is welcome to visit Subkultfestivalen, from the dedicated goths and seasoned synth fans to curious newcomers who have no idea what subculture is all about.

Subkultfestivalen’s vision is to become the Nordic region’s largest cultural festival, highlighting subcultural music genres and art forms. The focus will be on music, art, dance, and shows that don’t usually get the same spotlight.

Subkultfestivalen also aims to be Sweden’s most accessible and open-minded festival, actively questioning society’s norms about how people should look, think, or be. They place great importance on social sustainability linked to culture, and accessibility, inclusion, and community are at the heart of the festival.
